How do I get a quote?
Use the quote form: tell us about your TV, your wall and any add-ons, and upload a few photos. We review every request and get back to you with a quote based on your actual setup. You can also call or text (210) 726-9035.
Do I need to buy a mount before you come?
No. If you already have one, choose its type in the quote form and we'll confirm it's right for your TV and wall. If you don't, tell us whether you want the TV fixed flat, tilting or full-motion, and we'll recommend a mount when we quote.
How high should my TV be mounted?
In most living rooms, the center of the screen should sit close to your eye level when you're seated, often around 40 to 45 inches from the floor, depending on your seating and screen size. Above a fireplace it will sit higher, which is where a tilting or pull-down mount helps. We mark the position and confirm it with you before drilling.
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?
Yes. Fireplace installs need extra planning for viewing height, heat, mantel clearance and where the wires will go, and the approach depends on whether the surround is brick, stone, tile or drywall.
Can you hide the wires?
Yes. Options range from bundling cables neatly behind the TV, to a slim paintable cord cover on the wall, to in-wall concealment on suitable walls using kits rated for in-wall use. We never run standard power cords inside a wall, because they aren't rated for it.
Do you do other handyman work?
Yes, a lot of it: furniture assembly, shelves, art and mirrors, blinds, doors, cabinets, drywall of any size, tile, moulding, fences, decks, garage doors, roof and concrete repairs, and custom woodworking and metalwork. Add it to your TV quote or request it on its own.
